Eight years! Don't they go by in a blink?

Eight years!!

That’s right!! We made it through the seven year itch without any scratches!! It has been a great year! What am I saying; it has been a great 8 years!!

Here are a few little things that have happened to us in the span of eight years of marriage.

Places we have lived and times we have moved: 5 places and 5 moves.

Houses we have owned: 3

Animals we have had: 2 dogs, 3 cats (9 cats if you count Sydney’s litter of kittens), one turtle (thanks to Austin, such a great birthday present!), 2 hamsters, and I can’t count that high on the fish!! ;)

Places we have been lucky enough to visit: Australia, New Zealand, Canada, New York, Philadelphia, Missouri (as well as a few states in that area), all or most of Hawaii, Florida, Puerto Rico, Western Caribbean, Eastern Caribbean, Southern Caribbean, Cozumel Mexico, all over California, all over Utah, and of course Las Vegas!!

Number of cars we have owned: 5

Activities we have discovered together: scuba diving, snuba diving, surfing, gambling in Vegas, horseback riding, I played ice hockey with Ryan, home run derby, taking classes together, and more that I can’t think of! ;)

Heart wrenching moments together: 6

Odd looks from outsiders who found out we have been married this long and then to realize we have no children: Too many to count . . . but oh so fun!! ;)

And last but not least how many years I have loved My Ryan: 11 years!

Ryan is absolutely without a doubt the best thing to ever happen to me! He is everything I could ever want or ask for of a Husband. He has a wicked sense of humor (often times directed about me), he is very loving (even with a dog he doesn’t want), he is always aware of my feelings and knows when I need a hug or a good laugh, he is my protector, he is the most gorgeous man inside and out, he puts up with my oddities, he is wonderful with my Grandma, he has put up with my no job and no school since I have been sick, he holds me when I wake up from all those horrible nightmares, and most of all he is one of the few people who wants to be with me all the time.

Ryan, you are my miracle, my ultimate hero, and my everything!
Time may change the way we live, our dreams, the plans we start, but it can’t change the love for you that’s always in my heart!!
Simply said, I love this man. Happy anniversary!!
