This cute husband of mine finally got to get back in the game!! This is the second time this year that Ryan has been in a basketball league. Due to this CRAZY summer he was only able to play in the last game.
He totally ROCKED it!! The other team kept trying to foul him . . . but he was a force to be reckoned with!! He beat the other team!! He was amazing. I was so proud!!

We got our Kings season tickets today!! He is a happy boy!!
The funny thing about it is we are on the pictures oo a few of the tickets!! I think it is sooo cool!! We are on all the season ticket holders tickets!! Here are a few:
I think it is so funny!! Sean, Monica (Evan in the womb), Ryan and I are famous!! We will be having a signing on these games to all those who would like our autograph!! heeheehee
I think this means that Sean and Monica need to go with us to the games that they are on the tickets of! That or we will give them the ticket stub for them to keep!! :)
Every time the season tickets come they are sent in a really cool box. . .and of course Felix (who happens to be named after Felix Potvin, ex kings goalie) loves to sit in the box.

That's right!! We went on a much needed vacation!! My husband, the work aholic was finally able to relax!! Unfortunatly, I never had the courage to take away his computer and cell phone. . .but he did sleep!! That is a win in my book!! :) It was the ultimate vacation. Relaxing. . .check! He and I alone. . .check! Eating to our hearts content. . . check! Having a much needed vacation with the man I love. . .CHECK CHECK CHECK!!
The following list is exactly why we BOTH needed a vacation!! All of this happend in the span of two months!!! UUGGGGHHHH
*I think thiscan go without mention. . .but this definitly is the top of the list. *We haven't had a vacation in forever. . .well for us four months is forever. . :) We really really really needed some time away together! *Ryan was victim to yet another car accident in under a year!! His poor back will never be the same. *That same week Ryan had to deal with an angry Broker and he accidentally damaged (nearly broke) his foot with moving equipment and had to wear a bootie. *He sliced his wrist (on accident. . .I hope!!) while cutting rope and had to get six stitches and three worried people hovering over him in the ER (thank you to Terry and Vicky for being there for the both of us!! Mostly Ryan though!) (P.S. I got to be Nurse Heather and take the stitches out myself with the help of youtube!! Hollar!!) *That nice house we put an offer on fell through. . . arrgghhhh!! *My hormones are(were) on a rampage. . .we both needed a break from that!! :) *Sweet Brother in-law having issues that were stressful on the whole family! *Father in-law having scary health issues!! *We were away from each other for a whole THREE weeks!! I came back and it felt like we had to be reintroduced!!
I think it goes without saying. . .we need some really good news soon!! :)
Needless to say this has been the worstsummer that I can remember. I am so glad it's over!!
Well, it's not really over yet. . .there is still some time to make it better!! Not to mention it could have been a whole lot worse!!
We have definitly learned a lot from the last few months. . .in a few years we may look back on this summer and laugh. . .you know those laughs that you want to cry because it is so horrible yet so funny at the same time???!!!
Oh summer. . .
What I love most about all the different seasons, is you feel like a new season you can start fresh!! I am really looking forward to fall!!

*the weather starts to cool down. . .a little! *the leaves change color *The smells of people lighting fires in thier fireplaces (or if you have a fireplace. . .being able to sit in front of it!) *Kids are going back to school *SCHOOL SUPPLIES!! I love going to the stores and seeing aisles of school supplies with stressed out parents and children in tow!! Brings back memories! *THE CLOTHES!! Lets face it. .. for most us mormon girls out there fall (and winter)is(are) really the only time we can be trendy and modest!! I usually go nuts with buying clothes this time of year. . .I need to stay away from the malls the next few months!! :) *Extra blankets at night! I love to sleep with tons and tons of blankets!! (I totally see why Sam loves it so much!! Auntie Heather loves her little Sam!!) *Apples and Pumpkins!! *The days get shorter. . .you see the stars a lot sooner at night!! *The absolute best: It's the countdown to winter (another fresh start season) and all the fun holidays!!

3. Kim O. Where do I start?? I love this lady!! Not only is she an excellent photographer (if you live in Utah you must do a session with her) she is such a good friend. Not only has she helped me with learning the photography world, but she has given me an outlet. She has been a huge support to me. With everything going on in her world she went out of her way to go out with me and spend most of her morning and early afternoon to teach me and support me. She gave me a beautiful bunch of flowers, yummy treats, and a great helpful book!! Words cannot express how much this lady means to me!! Thank you thank you thank you!! Kim you RAWK!! There is no one else I would want breakfast complete with water show and twin arms with than you!! Thank you for being there for me!!
4. Tawny I swear I am not biased (ok maybe a little). Just because she is another one of my sisters and I helped with getting her in the blogging world too doesn't mean that I can't give her an award also!! I am so proud of her for keeping up with the blogging!! I love her cute posts and adorable pictures!! I am glad to be able to live near this sweet family. I can't help but give them an award!! You are a trooper for doing all that you do and being pregnant. You are at super hero status!!

This wonderful Lady is a constant in most of my childhood memories!! She is very loyal and caring. There isn't anyone who has a bigger heart or funny sense of humor. She is a great mom, and friend!! Sorry this will be the last post about this . . . It's been very difficult to say the least. It sucks, it's lame, and it's still very painful. I am still going through all the emotions. . . I may be on the verge of checking into an insane asylum and making pasta necklaces for a time. You will all get one from me come christmas. :)

It means the world to me that you are standing by me during my time of need. It lets me know who I can rely on and call close. ( Also thank you for the birthday wishes. . . I was against celebrating my birth when I killed another birth, but thank you Vicky and Ryan for turning a horrible time into an enjoyable time. Timing just sucks sometimes)
An even bigger thank you to my Ryan who protected me, held me while I cried, paid a lot in time, tests, and money, and has stood by me. I can't even describe to you the pain and guilt I feel for not allowing this sweet man to be a father.
So anyway, I have a question on etiquette.
I must have missed this chapter from Emily Post about how to handle the timing of telling people you are pregnant. I am sorry to those of you who were bugged and irritated that I didn't personally tell you that we were pregnant. I am even more sorry that many of you had to find out that we miscarried through a blog, email, or through family members.
It's so confusing!! You don't tell people that you are pregnant for fear of miscarrying, yet when you miscarry you tell people. What was the point in keeping it quiet.
I am of the belief that I would rather tell people (if conversation swings that way) that I had miscarried after I have had time to manage my emotions better so I won't make them or me feel awkward or ask questions that I am not prepared to come to terms with.
And with the announcement of pregnancy I will tell only those that I am close with and the rest will find out once I am past my first trimester. I think most people do this. That way if there is a miscarriage than only your close friends and family will support you through it.
The timing of this one couldn't have been worse. My cousin was getting married and so all of my family was coming into town. Since I was in a lot of physical and emotional pain, seeing a lot of family right then and celebrating was beyond my capability. "Our" story was going to be that I was really sick with something contagious (this has been my fall back with a lot of people through the infertility treatments and testing). I am sorry that I appear to be a flake, being with friends and family is a priority to me. . .just not as much as bringing a possible child into the world. Baby trumps social aspects. . .that's just how it is. However, Ryan is tired of people thinking ill of me as I am as well. He decided that we tell them. That way they will understand if I am acting "different". . . oh, just come out and say it, that I am majorly depressed. However, we didn't have to tell everyone. Most of my family reads this blog. . .the ones who read it were able to clue in the ones who didn't read it and so on and so forth.
So if you have made it this far in the post you deserve a treat!!
I ask you my fellow friends. . . what do you do with announcing to people that you are pregnant? And if you have miscarried do you tell right then? I am very curious what other people think is the right thing to do. I have had enough of these that you would think I would have figured this out already. Oh well.
